Little or 2 months left

Looking at the calendar, there really is not that much longer left in our student teaching, that makes me smile, a lot :) With the weather getting nicer out, oh wait, its not, with the weather going to get better out, I think the time will fly by. No worries about meeting at the college for or long days. I cant wait to get off from school and play golf.

Health Work Sample

I was wondering if any of the PE/Health people have some good ideas for a health work sample that I need to start after Spring Break. I was thinking some sort of healthy living unit using nutrition, exercise, goal setting and who knows what else. Let me know if you have any great ideas.

Job Fair Spokane

For all you people out there in need of a Job, I will be in Spokane on Tuesday for the Job Fair. Hopefully some school district will decide to take a chance on me and trusting me with their youth. Should be a fun and exciting day of meeting educators outside of Eastern Oregon.

NCAA March Madness, Just would like to give a shout out to the best time of the year for a college basketball fan. Huskies and ZAGS got both 4 seeds and they are playing in Portland and Boise. I also would like to say that I am glad that Union is on a 4 day school week so I can watch all the games on friday and through the weekend.

Flickerball

I have a great PE game for the Gym that I modified from a normal outside game.

Split the class us to 2 teams. Get one squishy type ball that is easy to throw.

Rules

Each person can stand with the ball for 5 seconds without moving or getting tagged

If a player decideds to run they can be tagged and have to set the ball down where they got tagged.

Can pass to anyone on the team

Ball is not allowed to hit the ground.

Endzones are baselines. Defense can knock the ball down or intercept at anytime. Continuous action, no down time

THis is a great game that kids absolutely love.

24K GOLD

Just wanted to give a shout out to the GOLD group for representing. Whoooop Whoooop. Great shirts, great people, Im glad we have a lot of fun and can laugh at ourselves. I think our class has made this class experience awesome. Just think of the mixture of people in our class. Remember day 1, everyone was on edge, now, hell, we all get along, awesome!!!

Yippie Skippie

Just want to say congrats to everybody for surviving another quarter, I can already feel the stress melting off my back. This winter quarter was hell!!!!!!!! Everyone is busy, tired, and cranky. We all had a ton of work to do, not to mention student teaching or part time gigs, but we made it and it is smooth sailing for a while.
